The Power of Starting Over in Your 50s: A Full Circle Moment

Coming full circle as a Notary Public has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. What began as a desire to build an independent career evolved into something much bigger when I decided to learn a new skill: Electronic Court Reporting. I took a chance on myself, invested the time to study, pushed through uncertainty, and earned my CER certification.

There were moments when I questioned whether I would make it this far. Building a freelance career is not always a straight path. I tried different opportunities, learned through trial and error, and often wondered if I would truly find the right fit. But every step, even the difficult ones, was preparing me for this moment.

Now, I can proudly offer digital/electronic court reporting as an additional service alongside my notary work. It feels like everything has come together in a way that makes sense; combining professionalism, flexibility, and purpose into a career I genuinely enjoy.

If you are still searching for what suits you, keep going. Sometimes purpose is not found overnight; it is built through persistence, curiosity, and the willingness to try something new. Your next chapter may come from a skill you have not discovered yet. No matter your age, it is never too late to create a life that brings fulfillment while earning a good living.
